Scribe Insight 6.4

Welcome to the Scribe Insight 6.4 download page.

Version 6.4 focuses on technical alignment with Microsoft for purposes of keeping our Microsoft CRM Certification; Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Support and a dedicated effort to focus on defects and feature requests from customers and partners.

Adapters

Scribe Insight 6.4 is designed to work with the new adapters included as part of its installation. Scribe Insight 6.4 does not support adapters available for previous versions of Scribe Insight.

The Scribe Insight 6.4 installation includes all of Scribe’s adapters.

Installing Scribe Insight 6.4

Before installing Scribe Insight 6.4, locate your serial number. Scribe Insight 6.4 requires you to register the software and you will need your serial number to register.

Warning IconIf you are not on a current maintainence agreement, you will not be able to register the product. If you are not sure of the current state of your maintainence agreement, please contact Scribe Sales at sales@scribesoft.com

There are important details regarding the upgrade process in the Insight 6.4 release notes.
Warning Icon Scribe strongly recommends reviewing the release notes before beginning the installation.

If your SCRIBEINTERNAL database is using Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE), you must upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition is included with the Scribe Insight installation. Read and follow Microsoft’s instructions for upgrading from MSDE to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. You can find instructions in Microsoft’s knowledge base here:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143491.aspx.
