Course Objectives:

This course is designed for technical consultants who use Scribe to build, maintain, and customize integrations with Great Plains. This course covers how to use the Adapter to get data into Great Plains and how to use Scribe Publisher for Great Plains to get data out of Great Plains.

In this course you will learn:

• The architecture and requirements of the Adapter and the Scribe Publisher for Great Plains
• Benefits of using the Adapter and the Publisher
• How to install the Adapter and the Publisher
• How to work with Adapter object properties and field properties
• When to use Adapter objects and when to use Great Plains base tables
• Great Plains custom functions available in Scribe Workbench
• How the Publisher works
• How to design Scribe DTS files for specific use cases
• Troubleshooting tips when working with the Adapter
